Second Grade

Kerry Quinley currently teaches second grade at Rockwell Elementary and has completed thirteen years of experience in the field of education. Quinley began her teaching career at Spanish Fort School in 1994, where she worked with fourth and fifth graders for three years before transferring to Rockwell. She has taught at Rockwell since its opening in 1997 and has experience as a teacher in second, fourth, and fifth grades. She has held her second grade position for the past three years. A native of Baldwin County, Quinley is also a graduate of Fairhope High School’s Class of 1989...Go Pirates! Quinley completed requirements for a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education degree at the University of South Alabama. She was honored to be selected as Rockwell’s Teacher of the Year in 2003. Kerry serves as the yearbook sponsor for Rockwell; she enjoys photography and artistic projects. Quinley has organized Honors Day Programs, participated in school publicity, and dabbles in school tee shirt design. Besides the time that she spends at Rockwell, Quinley especially enjoys relaxing on the beach and time with family and friends!
