Rockwell Elementary School PTA

The Rockwell Elementary School PTA raises approximately $50,000 each year to sponsor academics, activities, and events for the school's 800 students. Some of the activities sponsored by the PTA include:

  • Accelerated Reader Program
  • Accelerated Math Program
  • Angel Tree
  • Technology
  • Physical Education Equipment (Archery Equipment, Rock Wall, Basketball Goals, Outdoor Track, etc.)
  • Volunteer Tutoring Programs
  • Discipline-Based Arts Education Program (Funding is provided for the school's extensive arts program which includes two major "school-wide" units of study each year.)
  • Reflections Program (in conjunction with the Alabama and National PTA)
  • Professional Development for Teachers
  • Teacher Appreciation Activities
  • Student Awards and Recognition Programs
  • Upkeep of Outside Classrooms, Picnic, and Activity Areas
