       Parent/Teacher Conferences – Parents are welcomed and encouraged to visit the school to meet with teachers. Appointments must be made to coincide with the teacher’s schedules. This may be done through the office.

       Please call 626-5528 to schedule a conference. Parents should not arrive unannounced to visit a classroom. This is disruptive to the instruction process.

       Identification of Visitors – All visitors must report directly to the office to sign in and obtain a badge when they enter the school.

IN NO INSTANCE SHOULD A VISITOR OR PARENT BE IN THE HALLWAY OR GO TO CLASSROOMS WITHOUT CHECKING IN AT THE OFFICE. This is a requirement of the State Department of Education in regard to the safety of children.

       We welcome visitors at appropriate times, but classes must not be interrupted. Generally, personnel in the office can take care of forgotten lunches, books, etc. Classes will not be interrupted for conferences between the hours of 7:50 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. except during the teacher's planning period. Conferences should be scheduled in advance. Every minute of a teacher’s day is planned; therefore, he/she does not have time for unexpected conferences.
